FAVORITE BASEBALL PLAYER GROWING UP: Dustin Pedroia

At 22 years old, Toryn Henshaw has dedicated 17 years to baseball, living and breathing the sport since he could first grip a baseball. His athleticism extends beyond the diamond, as he also played football for 9 years, providing him with valuable insight into the life of a dual-sport athlete.

Toryn continued his baseball career on a scholarship at a junior college in Hesston, Kansas, where he played for two years. This private Christian school offered him the unique opportunity to deepen his faith while pursuing his passion for baseball. Throughout his career, Toryn primarily played as a middle infielder, but upon reaching varsity in high school, he transitioned to the outfield, where he continued to excel through college. One of Toryn’s standout qualities on the field was his hitting ability, a skill he now passes on to the next generation of players.
