FAVORITE BASEBALL PLAYER GROWING UP: Shawon Dunston

Coach Z has managed/coached select baseball in the Houston area since 2005, including several Major and AAA teams over the past 15+ years. He is very passionate about baseball and was the founder/owner of Toros Baseball (2005-2014), which grew to 14 teams (ages 7u-Varsity) in a single season. Toros won a national championship and multiple state championships, including a team he managed (12u) that qualified and played in USSSA Elite 32 World Series. Many of the Toros players are playing or played collegiate baseball (including players at Texas A&M, LSU, Texas Tech, Texas). Coach Z played baseball at Air Force Academy High School and collegiately at Colorado Northwestern Community College.
