FAVORITE BASEBALL PLAYER GROWING UP: Ken Griffey Jr.

Ryan grew up in SE Houston area playing youth sports focusing on soccer at the high school level. He received a scholarship to play soccer at Gordon College in Barnsville GA in 2001. He joined the United States Air Force in 2003 and worked as an aircraft mechanic serving two tours in Iraq in 2005, and 2007. Ryan will retire with 20 years’ service Nov 2023. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake in Fitness and Human performance in 2009. Ryan currently works as an Operations Supervisor for LyondellBasell in La Porte. He has coached youth sports since 2015 to include head coach for Texas Made Baseball from 2018-2022.
