Coach Madrid, a Victoria, Texas Native has a heightened passion to give back to the youth from the lessons learned from past coaches in his life. Before coaching he was selected twice in the MLB draft where he ultimately signed in the 7th round in 2012 with the San Diego Padres. He played 4 years in their minor league system. Madrid earned mid-season all star accolades in both the Northwest and Midwest league and in total played professionally for 6 years. Coach Madrid has been involved in Houston select baseball at the youth and highschool level for over 7 years.
