FAVORITE BASEBALL PLAYER GROWING UP: Pedro Martinez

Hailing from the Dominican Republic town of Santo Domingo, Coach Deleon was drafted in 2010 by the Cincinnati Reds as a pitcher. After spending some time in the Reds system, he shifted gears in his baseball career and joined the American Association of Professional Baseball, where he played for two years. Since 2016, he has been coaching for different youth organizations, including 5-Star Texas, the Texas Marlins, Whitesands Houston, and Diaz Baseball.
