Coach Adams has coached and managed select baseball in the Houston area since 2006. During his 16+ years of coaching, he has worked with all ages from 8U through the high school level, including AA, AAA and Major. Adams began his youth coaching career in Houston with the Toros, where he served not only as a coach but also the general manager for ages 12U and under. While with the Toros, Adams was part of the coaching staff that won a youth national championship and several state championships. He has since coached for the Texas Lightning, Banditos, Marucci, Fort Bend Sting, and Texas Jays. Most recently, Coach Adams held the role of head coach for the Gulf Coast Marlins Red Team (9U-11U) that won 18 championships and secured nine second place finishes. Many of the players that Coach Adams has coached through the years have gone on to play high school and collegiate baseball; one of his players has even reached the Major League level with the New York Mets. Coach Adams is very dedicated and passionate about the game of baseball. He believes in working hard, competing, and giving maximum effort at all times. Coach Adams truly enjoys teaching the sport and developing youth athletes into becoming the best player they can be.
