A: Your donation will directly support our youth baseball teams by covering expenses such as equipment, uniforms, field rentals, travel costs, and coaching resources. Every contribution goes towards enhancing the overall experience for our players and helping them reach their full potential on and off the field.
A: We support your fundraising efforts! In this case, no additional information is required from you.
A: Teams are welcome to organize their own fundraisers. However, please be aware that the Houston Wildcatters is not a pass-through charity. The organization does not receive any tangible benefits from directed contributions. We only accept donations that are intended for the general organization and can be used for organization-related expenses.
Note: Anyone currently participating in a match program will have the option of finishing the year- unless contributing to the organization as a whole.
A: Yes, we are happy to issue a receipt for the FMV of an item donated.
A: Please inform us so we can watch for the donation. Your HR Department will issue you a receipt for your donation, and we will ensure that we 'claim' the donation as needed.
A: Yes, there are various ways to support our organization beyond monetary donations. You can volunteer your time as a mentor, or event organizer. For more information on volunteering your time, please contact Brooke Price at brooke@houstonwildcatters.com.
