Celebrating Growth at the Second Annual Wildcatters Coaches Day
Since the last Coaches Day, the organization has expanded significantly, now reaching into Dallas-Fort Worth, South Texas, and Central Texas.
On January 25, the Wildcatters Baseball Organization hosted its second annual Coaches Day, bringing together an incredible group of dedicated coaches for a day of connection, celebration, and preparation for the season ahead. Since the last Coaches Day, the organization has expanded significantly, now reaching into Dallas-Fort Worth, South Texas, and Central Texas. With this growth, the event took on even greater importance, serving as a chance for coaches from all regions to meet, bond, and build a stronger foundation for the future.

The event was held at Home Run Dugout in Houston, a fitting venue for a day centered around baseball and camaraderie. Over 50 coaches gathered to enjoy food, drinks, and the opportunity to get to know one another. Some of these coaches have been part of the Wildcatters family for years, while others were meeting their fellow team leaders for the first time. Regardless of tenure, the shared passion for developing young athletes and fostering a love for the game was evident throughout the day.
In addition to the social aspect, the event was also a time for equipping coaches with essential gear for the upcoming season. The organization ensured that each coach had what they needed to continue leading their teams with excellence.

Of course, no Wildcatters gathering would be complete without some friendly competition. The highlight of the day was a spirited game of wiffle ball, where coaches had the chance to showcase their skills and enjoy the game from a different perspective. Laughter and friendly banter filled the air as teams battled it out, reminding everyone why they fell in love with baseball in the first place.
As the Wildcatters organization continues to grow and make an impact in youth baseball, events like Coaches Day serve as a reminder of the strength of this community. Bringing together experienced and new coaches alike fosters a sense of unity and shared purpose that will carry into the season and beyond.
