Coach Navarro was born and raised in Mexico City where he played baseball since he was 6 years old. He represented his country in multiple Little League international tournaments as a first baseman.

He was drafted by the Florida Marlins out of high school but declined to play professional baseball to instead pursue an engineering degree. He played college baseball and was a starter for 3 years where he collected multiple batting records. He later earned a Masters degree from Rice University.

Coach Navarro has been coaching youth baseball for more than 10 years in the Houston area and is a competitor at heart. He excels in teaching proper fundamentals and mechanics. The biggest reward in coaching youth baseball is seeing his players develop a similar love for baseball as he has for it. He coaches his players to love it as much as he does, because at the end of the day, it is a game.
